Those steps required to enable email notification for fresh
installation. For example, we want that root receive email
notification for project Test (and all subtasks) only when
1) somebody create new bugs
or
2) somebody create new message for bugs and with handler=Admin.
1) Start hsql.exe
2) Start sman.exe
3) Select the "database management" tab and press the "create
database" button.
4) Go to the Email notification tab and enable email notification.
5) Press the "start" button, then "open window".
6) Login as root/root.
7) Go to to "User Management->User" tab and set email for root
user.
Now go to the User Management tab and click the Filters tab.
9) Enter filter name - "Bugs where I am handler" and press the submit
button.
10) Select "category is bug" and "message handler is Admin", click the
submit button.
11) Now we need to enable email notification for project Test and all
subtasks - go to the subtasks tab and select Test project. Then go
again to Filters tab, select our new filter (it should be r/o), go to
the notify tab and click check box.
Now test email notification:
1) Create new bug in test project - receive email notification.
2) Now create bugnote and set handler="test" - we receive no email
notification.
2) Now create bugnote and set handler="admin" - we receive email
notification.
