Future of MySQL support in TrackStudio

Postby admin » Tue Jun 24, 2003 11:02 pm

We consider the possibility of drop mysql support in future versions of TrackStudio.

TrackStudio 2.5 and 2.7 supports MySQL, but it makes headache for us, because even MySQL 4.0.13 with InnoDB has buggy (very limited and non standard) DML, especially related to indexes and constraints. So, we interesting about how many users use (or plan to use) MySQL with TrackStudio and decide about future of MySQL support in TrackStudio

If you plan to purchase TrackStudio and use it with MySQL - please contact us, and we discuss your requirements.

Bad news - we plan to drop mysql support even in 2.7, because we found major bugs somewere in the chain Hibernate-JDBC driver-MySQL.
