Bulk processing and fields when sending a message
Posted: Wed Oct 01, 2008 9:58 pmThe bulk processing filter is useful when I have large number of issues that I need to apply the same message to.
Usually, the typical case would be releasing all issues that are pending release. The release process includes assigning the reference to the task associated with the release label (using custom field of Task type). The typical assignment is take the number of that task written somewhere and just entering "#<whatever_number>" instead of going through lengthy task selection. Since this procedure is what I always do, I enabled the release reference to be shown when message "Release" is selected.
The field IS shown when I apply messages to individual tasks and IS NOT shown I use bulk processing filter. Is that by design?
